Rate
For the first 10 hours, my rate is $150 per hour.
After 10 hours, the price reduces to $120 per hour.
After 50 hours, the price reduces to $90 per hour.
Discounts
During the summer my rate is deeply reduced. For summer courses, or people who want to learn a subject outside of a school course, this can be a way to get very affordable tutoring.
I also give a discount for teaching real analysis.
Locations
There is no travel fee for online meetings, or in-person meetings held at the Sharon Forks Library.
Other locations may require a travel fee at $40 per hour of travel, including travel there and back.
Course Information
For any college tutoring, I will need you to send me the course assignment that you’d like to talk about in our meeting, before I can quote a price.
If your assignment is a file (PDF / DOCX / JPG).
Upload the assignment that you’d like to discuss to Google Drive (or other cloud hosting).
Make a link to the file. For Google Drive and some other services, set the link to “public”.
Include the link in your email to me.
If the problems that you’d like to discuss come from a textbook, you can tell me the textbook title and problem numbers. There is a decent chance that I already own the textbook.
Scheduling
I work from 8am to midnight ET, each day of the week, including weekends!
Cancellations and reschedules are still billed for an hour.
