Affordable University Tutoring
It’s nearly October as I write this, and the school year is in full swing! That means exams, busy students, difficult challenges.
When I get busy, my price tends to rise, and that is certainly true for me right now. My price is currently $150 per hour for the first ten hours of tutoring.
I understand that, for many students, that is prohibitively expensive.
On the other hand, taking on new students is a strain for me — I currently have over twenty students. Between tutoring time, travel time, and prep time to be ready to teach these subjects, adding a new student is difficult. Therefore my price is set high for any new student.
I would like to make my tutoring more accessible, especially for any student who has a curiosity and desire to learn the subjects I teach. If that describes you or your student, consider reaching out to me during the summer, starting in late May. At that time, my price be reduced by quite a lot. Also, by tutoring with me over the summer you can lock in a discounted rate that will stay with you through the following school year. Feel free to inquire about this offer.
I also offer subject-based discounts. Right now I discount any tutoring in real analysis. Over the summer I plan to also discount any Georgia Tech Distance Math tutoring (linear algebra, multivariable calculus, combinatorics, differential equations) as well as discrete mathematics and symbolic logic.
